It’s Your Turn

Statistics show that the top 10 countries with people who enjoy reading Women On God’s Mission are the following (in this order):

  • USA
  • Russia
  • Canada
  • Germany
  • Netherlands
  • South Korea
  • United Kingdom
  • Brazil
  • Philippines
  • Australia

Oh how I wish I could meet each one of you!  I hope I am going to get to know a few of my readers this weekend, because

Now it’s YOUR turn!  🙂

And I am going to be giving away

Two free books!!
I would like to send two of my fellow women on God’s mission a copy of one of my favorite books: Martha To the Max .  To be eligible for this drawing, share a comment on my blog this weekend.  Introduce yourself and tell what country you live in.  You may use your initials instead of your entire name, if you wish.  Also, please share something about yourself – about the mission God has given to you right now. On Monday morning I will draw two names and announce the winners.

If you have time, I highly recommend this message by Barbara Rainey.  I am listening to it right now as I clean my house . . . Three Essentials For the Married Woman.  One thing that has stood out so far is:  “Wimpy theology makes wimpy women!” – John Piper . . . the importance of knowing God personally – studying God’s Word for ourselves and not just reading what others have learned and written about Him!

Have a great day, and I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. I love your blog, Sara. You are an encouragement. God's mission for me right now is to be a helpmeet to my best friend and husband and to raise my five children for His glory. Boy, that is a tall order and I fall short many days. But thankfully we serve a loving and forgiving God and His mercies are new every morning. Kim S.

  2. My name is Jeannie and I live in the USA. The mission God has given me at this time in my life is to be a stay at home mom for my daughter and a help mate to my husband. I feel incredibly blessed to have this opportunity! I am seeking to invest in the lives around me however the Lord gives me opportunities. I am developing more of a passion for strengthening marriages, but I am unsure if/how the Lord will use this.

  3. I live in the USA. My mission is to be a loving, obedient child of the Heavenly Father.

God has allowed me to have an amazing husband and spectacular children. I try to be a blessing in their lives. He has blessed me with a wonderful church family to whom I try to minister with my whole heart and whom I love dearly. He has given me an expanded ministry with family and friends – a blessing and a chance to share His love further. He has also blessed me with the ministry through cancer – an area I can share just how gracious He has been to me and desires to be to others.

I have an idea of where I would be if Christ had not rescued me from my sin. I hope I can help others understand this, too, and accept His love and gift of salvation.

  4. I live in the USA, and my name is Diane S. 🙂 My main mission, as much of yours are is to be a godly wife and mother of 2. Right now God is leading my husband into full time ministry and I am looking forward to being a pastors wife- with a lot of fear too. Looking forward to learning more about a pastors wife's role.

  7. I live in the USA. God has given me the gift of knowing Him personally through his Word. My mission is to grow closer to God every day, and to be the best wife and mom I can be. After that, my mission is to encourage everyone around me with the truth about God and His love for them. 🙂
